Dr Hany N Takla is the Director and President of the St Shenouda the Archimandrite Center for Coptic Studies based in Los Angeles, California, which is dedicated to the preservation, revival and promotion of the heritage of Christian Egypt for the benefit of current and future generations of Coptic diaspora. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Professor at Claremont Graduate University, an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Divinity Australia and St Athanasius and St Cyril Theological School. Dr Takla has multiple publications, as a Coeditor-in-Chief of the Claremont Coptic Encyclopedia and as a Editor in the AUC Volume Series ‘Christianity and Monasticism in Upper Egypt’.
